Win Those Kids' Hearts - My Hero Academia S4 Episode 16 Reaction

In Endeavors defense in asking what it means to be a symbol. It's always a good idea to talk to and exchange ideas/advice with those who were once above you for their insight. Something made that other person better than you at one point, and knowledge is power. I can totally understand him wanting to talk to All Might myself.

Quirks Doomsday theory, Suzy. It's on the next episode but Overhaul mentioned it a few times indirectly. The more the generations pass, quirks get stronger amd stronger. So these kid's quirks are super duper strong now without years of training. That's why Eri's quirk was uncontrollable by her. Excited too see your reaction to the next episode mate.
Actually Eri’s quirk was a random mutation not the result of her parents quirks combining to make a stronger one, which is the basis for the theory. Also her quirk was uncontrollable because no one told her what it was or helped teach her basic control which is what most kids get once their quirks develop

As for the theory itself once you stop and actually consider it, it completely falls apart. For starters you aren’t guaranteed to get both your parents quirks, Endeavour literally went out of his way to make it happen and it took him 4 tries. There’s also the fact that most quirks aren’t that strong or useful, and even if they did combine there’s no guarantee the combination would result in a powerful quirk. Meanwhile Deku whose parents both had quirks still ended up quirkless. The fact the someone can be born quirkless from two people that do have quirks means that it’s impossible to reach a population where 100% of people have quirks. Looking at all the information the show provides it’s just not possible for something like that to happen naturally, you would have to force it to happen over an insane amount of time
