Also, It's not that Rukia is ungrateful, Suzy. She had resigned herself to being executed, and her sole salvation was that she had given Ichigo a chance to survive. She wanted Ichigo to live above all else, even if she had to die.

If Yoruichi hadn't arrived, Ichigo would have probably been killed right in front of her eyes by Byakuya at that moment. So in summary, all Rukia wants is to protect Ichigo from harm because she cares about him.

The start of the Naruto dub predates the Bleach dub by almost exactly a year, 364 days to be precise. And yeah, Captain Ukitake is voiced by Liam O'Brien who voiced Gaara. He voiced Gaara first. So you are right about Bleach seemingly onboarding a bunch of Naruto VA's haha.
