Guess this was recorded a while ago because the part about him naming the cursed spirit Megumi was a mistranslation that was later rerecorded and fixed. What he actually says is “oh right I named my Son Megumi” because his comment about Gojo and Geto having parentage reminded him of Megumi who his middle man asked about in episode 2. Because Megumi inherited the Zenin clans 10 shadows technique and was going to be sold to the Zenin clan in a few years.

In the original manga he said “Oh right Megumi, it means blessing. I’m the one who gave him that name.” And there was no flashback to Megumi just Toshi standing there with the cursed spirit, so the dub translation team saw that when referencing the manga translation and thought he was talking about the cursed spirit. They were later informed of the mistake and fixed it
