The moment when Naruto defeats one of the strongest opponents in the Naruto world and is beaten up by a woman - Very funny imagination of the writer.
Personally I don't dislike the scene where Naruto gets beaten other than it being hard to watch. Karui (red head) was def in the wrong tho. Do you guys really understand the scene? I'm not sure you do. By defending himself and getting into a fight with the cloud ninja he felt that he would have been feeding into the cycle of hatred mentioned by Pain. I'm sure that normally he would have chosen to dodge since that is also peaceful, but he wanted to take the hits and accept the hatred of Sasuke so that maybe their hatred of Sasuke would be lessened.

It doesn't matter that it didn't erase their hatred, its the motivation behind the action that makes the scene. Naruto wants to protect Sasuke so badly that he would do this even if it is irrational, that's the point. To me it's a harsh but powerful scene that pairs well with the themes of the pain arc, Naruto is trying his best to find an answer to hatred.
Naruto let her hit him because if he were to attack things would go on a bigger level like between villages.
Well if you think about it if your best friend or the person you look up to got killed you would want to beat Naruto up since he offer himself up. Sasuke is the one who caused the drama the red hair girl don't know that he is alive. It's same situation with jiraiya or kakashi being killed Suzy wanted Nagato to die without giving him a chance. If Nagato was dead without listening to his story then none of the leaf shinobi would be alive especially KAKASHI. Gotta look both perspectives
The day naruto is the stongest dude in the world its gonna rain poop. And btw, naruto learned from nagatos Cycle of hatred. Letting himself be beat up was narutos way to confront this cycle Of hatred. Thats the whole point he explained to them in the beginning.

i'm enjoying a lot to hear your theories and thoughts about Danzo
Naruto is still a naive kid he obviously is just trying to find a way to make things better but still doesnt have it all figured out, Sai has developed into a great guy, he deserves to be appreciated :)
Hi Suzy, love your vids since day 1 :)

Honestly I can't blame Karui or the cloud in that scene. They don't know Naruto or Sasuke, their bond/history. And why should they care, Sasuke didn't care about the consequences of his actions just to meet his goal when he attacked their village and kidnapped their master, and Naruto's toxic bond with Sasuke makes him a part of the problem too. You can't expect people to understand your point of view when something like this happens and the person responsible for it (Sasuke) doesn't care in the first place. You hear all this stuff your so called ""friend"" did without remorse and you still choose to side by him. Up until now it was a good mix but at this point in the series it get's unrealistic how obsessed Naruto is with Sasuke redemption.
I agree with you but I think we're kind of failing to understand that Naruto and Sakura don't see what we see in regards to Sasuke. Let's put ourselves in their position. From their perspective, Sasuke left the village in order to gain power from Orochimaru to kill his brother, Naruto went after him to stop him but failed. However, he knew Sasuke wanted to kill him but he didn't so he thinks there's some good left in Sasuke so they plan on getting him back. Two years and a couple months have passed when they finally caught up to Sasuke. They failed once again. But they still had faith that the Sasuke they know was in there so they never gave up. Then they heard that Sasuke killed Orochimaru and that sparked more hope that they can get him back. They then made it their mission to capture Itachi but we all know how that went down. Hearing that Sasuke finally killed Itachi made them believe that he might be coming home, having no clue about the Itachi's secret. At this point, in their eyes, Sasuke is not necessarily on the bad side but now hearing he joined the Akatsuki and that he took the Raikage's brother, a jinchuriki, confused them because it sounds so unlike Sasuke to join the Akatsuki.

So from their standpoint, their relationship with Sasuke isn't as toxic as we perceive it to be. And hearing this news from the Hidden Cloud ninjas makes them want to reach Sasuke, even more, to try and save him from growing darker.
