I personally dislike how they brought Zabuza and Haku back, I felt like it was kind of forced and undermined their original deaths with it being left up to interpretation if an afterlife existed and if zabuza and haku would be together after all. To each their own though, it's fan service and many people did enjoy seeing them again even briefly, no judgement here
i mean just because a writer makes a choice and then writes his characters to comment on that choice, doesn't necessarily mean it was a good decision or well justified in the first place. all im saying is i didn't like it as it felt like kishimoto was kind of cheapening the weight of his earlier naruto writing in exchange for a few minutes of fanservice. just my opinion though, i know plenty of people who like it and plenty who don't
But... everyone loses heir memories of the afterlife when they get resurected. That's how it works, there is clearly an afterlife otherwise the souls would not be able to be summoned. I liked it a lot, if anything I think Kishimoto could have milked it harder but he kept it pretty brief.
Hey Suzy In regards to what you said in the last episode, The same way that you wouldn’t want Jiraiya to be brought back (like the rest of us) Because of how disrespectful and demeaning it would be to his death and character is the same way most, if not all of us feel about these other characters coming back, That is one of the main reasons as to why people see this as a trash arc. The other reason that you should know by now is because of the pacing and all the filler in between. There’s many more reasons to come, But regardless it still has its hype and legendary moments, The best of the whole War Arc will be in the 320s and 330s.
That is NOT why lol. Generally speaking ressurection is often frowned upon in the shonen communities especially when characters are brought back to life. But naruto's story introduces this concept so early it becomes kind of a pivotal device in the series narative. So when it finally does happen at the end, it logically makes sence and is not seen as a lazy plot device to making characters relevent again. Its such a big part of the whole story that it never feels shoe horned into the show. Kishimoto clearly planned for it all along.
The other reason i agree with you though especially with the inclusion of the filler which is probably the worst in the entire series. It inpedes the main canon plotline and even contradicts some of the major laws and mechanics of the story. On the other hand the filler is so irelevent it feels like its coming from a completly different manga.
Though there is a 2nd reason that is some what more controversial, but I am not going to get into that because suzy is no where near there yet.
