I know this is old and you are already on Boruto, but I just wanted to say this. I never loved or hated Hanzo. I never really thought he was that bad. He was definitely naive for listening to the butt known as Danzo (one that I actually do hate). Danzo is the reason Hanzo betrayed the good Akautski in the first place. Hanzo was letting the Akautski go at the time because they I only wanted peace which was the same goal as him. But Danzo staged a massacre (at least from what I can remember) to look like the Akautski was going rouge and being violent to take over places, which was not the case. So, Hanzo wanted to take them down. Hanzo let Jiraiya them go in the past as well because he respected them and had morals. This was shown in this episode as well. He saw that the Samaria (I forget his name) is honorable and truly wanted peace. Danzo is the reason for so much of the strife that happened in this show. He just wanted peace as well, but went about it the complete wrong way. His actions made it seem as though he didn’t care about peace, but power. I just really don’t like Danzo. But also love him because he had to do those crappy things for the show to work. But if I were in the Naruto world I would wish that he had died a lot sooner or just never became a Shinobi and just lived a normal life.
