Ocean Turtle - Sword Art Online S3 Episode 5 Reaction

Comments

so about SAO? is it on pause? have suzy commented on when it will be back? have she mentioned what got in the way? just wondering since i havent seen anything about it. like i dont mind something getting in the way. but i would like too know if its gonna be back anytime soon.
I don't watch the other series so she may have mentioned something about it there if there are any other series running along... I think Naruto?
But last time in SAO she mentioned that a friend(or family member) of hers is about to give birth so she was going to see the baby, or something among those lines... so that may be it... but, no one really knows I guess.
I also hope it's back soon, and that nothing bad happened.

(It was like 2 weeks ago I think? I don't really remember her exact words. Do excuse me if that's not word by word.) :)
Naruto and next gen games have taken up most her time so SAO is currently on pause and will upload when she can. 👍
I like how my comment writing how I hope next week we get some episodes was deleted, but 2 of the 3 comments of the guy below that are exactly the same were not reduced. :D

(Sorry about that, It was a misunderstanding on my part, I forgot that I had left it as a response to someone else who most likely deleted their comment.
I will delete this comment myself soon. I just want to apologize to the moderator team as my comment can be seen as rude toward them. It was not meant to be. Sorry!) :)
i belive it wast your comment that was removed. it was another. and your comment was a reply too that. so urs got removed there by.
That is indeed correct. I am sorry about that. I forgot that I made it as a response, my bad!
Honestly, I am extremely excited to see your reaction to Alice for some reason, I don't really know why. :D

Let the hype begin
Thank you for that! :D
I hope the eventually do another actual season as they kind of "promised" in the last episode.

I also think it will be kind of entertaining to see a movie or something from the perspective of the rest of the cast. As it seems that movie will be from Asuna's point of view. :)
Thank you Suzy for hearing me, and probably a lot others.
We appreciate you releasing the Regular videos too. :)

If you're already tearing up I can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of alicization 😭
Whether you find the next several episodes boring or worthwhile depends on the reasons why you watch SAO. If you watch for the sword fights and the action, then these few episodes will be boring by comparison. However, there are people like me that want to know what happened to Kirito, why he's stuck back in the Underworld with all of his memories, and what's going on in the real world in the meantime. In other words, I'm not watching just for the sword fights; I'm watching for the universe building as well. There are others that argue that these episodes could have been paced and/or arranged better. I'm not going to fight them on that opinion. It very well could have been. But this is what we have, and for me anyway, I'm fine with it.

And we also have to keep in mind that they shortened the explanations A LOT, it could have been sooo much longer.
For the record, when we get back to Kirito and Eugeo, there will be a 2-year time skip. None of this is actually spoiler unless you plan on reading the LNs and/or side stories, but I'll give it a couple of lines anyway, so if you don't want to know, stop reading. The first episode back to them gives a very brief and not detailed at all summary of these events as well, but as I said, this is not spoiler, but if you feel it is feel free to skip.

The first of the two years will be Kirito's and Eugeo's journey to Centoria, much of which is spent in Zakkaria. They lived and worked on the Wolde family farm as well as enrolled in the Zakkaria Garrison, where they further honed their swordcraft. They would then both compete in and win their pools of the Zakkaria Garrison swordfighting tournament, which earned them admission into the North Centoria Swordcraft Academy. They would spend the second year of the time skip as first year students of the Academy, and we catch back up to them at the end of their first year.
the whole "ten episodes for something" isn't a series thing but an adatption issue of the old buisness model. in the past once an anime was green lited it's was expected to run all the way to the end(DBZ, naruto, bleach, one piece etc) and so since naruto is based on a weekly manga the anime catch up fairy quickly since the adaptation rate for most anime is 2-3 chapters for 1 episode. now days the formula has changed with shows like MHA and SAO that takes more smart approach where they will adapt an arc or two and than take a break for a few months(MHA) or a couple of years(AOT) in order to let the source material advances further and once there is a sufficient gap adapt 2-3 arcs and repeat. with SAO you can see it more clearly since SAO is an adaptation of a light novel where before making the anime it's more accaptable to wait for an arc to conclude in the novel and then adapt it into an anime.
