Light - Black Clover Episode 27 Reaction

I am tired of the trope that the leader must be the strongest/the strongest must be the leader. The Wizard made two mistakes: 1, He sent his strongest unit (himself) on a recon mission: 2, He lead the mission himself. Giving the Wizard King the benefit of the doubt he had no idea how powerful the foe was nor their plan. Nevertheless he rushed-off (without warning his subordinates, a third mistake I must add) when he should have sat back, sent out scouts (which he absolutely should have) and awaited developments. Everyone makes mistakes, it is too early to label the Wizard King a bad leader.

I really enjoy the Black Clover reactions. Too bad it isn't more popular. I'd personally rather have some more of this rather than Boruto, but it is what it is. I watch both, but just putting it out there lol.

While the Wizard King is indeed the strongest mage in the kingdom. The 9 squad captains are also all ridiculously strong. There were 3 of them in the captain along with another half-dozen of the most accomplished knights in the kingdom. There was no reason for the Wizard King to believe the Capital wasn't safe in their hands. They just got caught in that spatial magic spell which was a failure on their part.
