All Hands on Deck! Class 1-A - My Hero Academia S5 Episode 1 Reaction

With regards to this season, a lot of people have said it felt boring and dragged in some places. This is mostly due to the fact that they switched one of the arcs around and had it cap off Season 5. Personally, I liked that change more as it ends the season on a proper high note and definitely gears you up for what's to come in Season 6. But I do agree the arc wasn't done justice. It was 22 chapters long in the manga but adapted into just 5 episodes in the anime, so that right there let's you know that they made a lot of cuts this time around. All in all, I can't help but blame Covid for the troubled production Studio Bones faced. If the whole pandemic never happened, Season 5 would've turned out way better than it did. Just like with Attack on Titan Season 4.

So in terms of chronological order It should be Episodes 1-12, then episodes 20-25, then the second movie, then episodes 13-19, then the third movie, then season 6. Covid caused a lot of delays and some story arcs got moved around, but this is the order in which the events take place chronologically
