Nine tails is strongest of all the tail beasts, so you might feel the other jinchuruki are well obviously. The strength comes in descending order.

Don’t you remember that Itachi told sasuke that he is not worth killing because he’s weak on Naruto first season, so Itachi in my opinion isn’t really phased by the news of sasuke killing orochimaru

its not really the Jinchuriki being weak rather the Akatsuki being strong, especially someone like Kisame :D you will see more no worries :)
