it's just because she babies him, he knows how good she is and commented on it before, but Mikasa's whole world revolves around Eren and she constantly wants to protect him he doesn't want her to worry, he said that when he passed his test with the gear. It dosent help that he always sounds angry tho
btw the reason eren talks like that to mikasa is because of his inferior complex towards her.
mikasa is a genius cadett who placed first in the rankings and is perfect almost everything.
