Descent - Attack On Titan S3 Episode 15 Reaction

Sorry scott, when armin made the statement it was made in reference to his past knowledge of what happened in their last encounter. Bertholt only transformed half his body and cause a lot of damage just by falling over, soo now we talking about a whole transformation and again he was thrown high up in the air... What goes up must come down... As for the ymir question... I guess someone was no paying attention or has not watch it themselves
As soon as Armin noticed the Bertholt Barrow Bomb barrowing towards Shiganshina and recognized it was going to explode I cried foul. When humans transform into Titans they do not explode with a vast amount of force. Armin knows this first hand, he has seen Bertholt., Reiner Annie and Eren transform. Granted you would not be grappling with a titan when they transform like those scouts were with Annie but Bertholt was too far away when he transformed to be a danger.
This silly asspull could be explained away as a `New Power' , Armin's recognication of it cannot be explained away. The Bertholt bomb, more to the point the resulting deaths, is nothing but silly death porn, (let's find a 'fun' new way to kill people) and not worthy of a show like Attack On Titan.
By the way, where is Ymir?
Is actually not that hard to figure out, Bertholt clearly can control the strength of the explosion as he pleases, and the first time Armin saw it was just a partial transformation (missing half the body) so the explosion wasnt as strong, so its not hard to theorize he can do a major explosion with the full transformation.
Add to the equation the height from ground in the moment of transformation. The fall of a coloso titan from 100m is worth a bomb magnitude itself.
Hange's explanation of what the Thundersticks are/ where they came from was excellent storytelling, secret weapons are secret from the enemy, not the viewer. A very short conversation between Bertholdt and the Beast Titan over how to use his power best would have been helpful. I know Armin is very intelligent but I feel he came to his recognition far too quickly considering the information he had, unless he considered the "bomb" idea beforehand. A conversation between Armin and Hange over what titans can do would have been nice.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Clearly you haven't watched this show before. You can't compare other titans transforming to the COLOSSAL titan. Bertholt had the ability to control the strength of his transformation as a colossal titan.
Its better not to reply to this guy. As i said in the comments of the last video, these are the kind of people who try to make their fav show look better by downgrading other shows. Look at his last question. He's like "where's ymir?"...so clearly he has not seen the show before or he doesn't understand what he sees. These people are better off with their typical shonen shows which spoon feed their audience about every idea a character has.
All titans don’t explode when they transform. Just the colossal Titan. If you actually watched FULL episodes and payed attention to the story, you would know that.
Better checkout titan transformations before you accuse someone else of not watching full episodes. Yes I missed Ymir's most recent appearance, my bad.
If you pay close attention, armin did figure out that anni was using his gear when she turned it in.
In that scene with mikasa attacking bertholdt, I don't know what I find more impressive, how skilled mikasa is or how well bertholdt was keeping up with her attacks. Also I'm not sure if you noticed this but the beast titan's name is Zeke, the four legged titan called him by that name.
I've read a theory about this that is quite solid. POTENTIAL SPOILERS SUZY DO NOT READ>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Some people think Bertholdt is part Ackerman, which explains why in this scene when Reiner's life was on the line he had a burst of confidence and energy to the point where he hurt Mikasa with a kick. Pretty cool theory!
That’s not a bad theory and at this point in the series it’s believable, however without spoiling anything, it’s actually impossible for him to be part Ackerman based on information you get later in the series
Possibly spoiler so don’t read

I believe Kenny explained prior to death that the Ackerman family clan can’t turn into titans given the fact they get the super human affect in their body that’s why the Ackerman are so dangerous that they are able to keep Titans at bay and that is why they are one of the clans that can’t get their memories whipped from the founding titan that’s why Kenny knew about to royal family and decided and tried to kill the king but failed
