Assault on Trip at Sacred Ground! - Bleach Episode 10 Reaction

* The episode you just watched was canon
* I have watched Bleach many times and the question of "Should I react to the filler" will probably get you a bunch of differing answers. Most of Bleach's filler comes in filler arcs, meaning 20-30 episodes of a side story of sorts.
* there are also random filler episodes scattered here and there, but unless they are specially requested by people they are usually very skippable.
* There are 4 main filler arcs, some are very good and some are very bad. I'll give you a short spoiler free recommendation for how to handle each one.

Filler arc 1 (64-108): This is by far the worst filler arc of Bleach and has a reputation for being horrible. Mainly because the pacing is SUPER slow. I would not recommend reacting to this under any circumstances. You can watch it if you want, but I honestly wouldn't recommend that either and I think it would bore you somewhere in the middle even as a filler enjoyer like I am. As you can see it's super long too, 44 episodes.

Filler arc 2 (168-189): This arc is.... ok? I don't think it's bad, but it's definitely the 2nd worst filler arc imo. I wouldn't recommend reacting to it unless many people request it (but I doubt they will), I think it's not exciting enough for a reaction. It also comes at a super bad time in the story and interrupts the middle of a canon arc and ruins the flow of the story. It's very skippable, you don't need to watch this.

Filler arc 3 (228-255): VERY VERY GOOD! This is the arc that most people probably think of when they say Bleach has good filler, and it will likely be your most requested filler to watch if I had to guess since it's quite popular. I would highly recommend reacting to this, AND I would also highly recommend you watch it in general. Adds a lot to the story.

Filler arc 4 (317-341): ALSO VERY VERY GOOD! This might be a hot take, but it's actually my favorite filler arc. I would also recommend reacting to this, and highly recommend you watch it. Adds a lot to the story.

Idk to me I always watch the fillers 😁 I’ve always loved them, I just think of it more BLEACH 😌🤩
Definitely don’t watch the fillers. They nearly ruined the show for me and I literally had to stop watching and come back a couple years later and restart from the beginning while skipping the filler. Honestly Bleach has the absolute worst filler and filler placement I’ve ever seen.
I would reccomend to just stick to the cannon material the filler characters that come from the bounty arc that show up after a few episodes they are like erased from the show and pretended to not even happen...and just like other comments have said the other filler arcs are just really really placed in bad areas
I my opinion, i'd think you should watch the fillers. Especially because if you don't... a certain filler character shows up again in a non filler episode... Most people end up being like "Who the heck is that" If you where reading the manga, it'd be a different story. But because it's in the anime, it's a bit different. Although I'll watch you either way, whether you decide to watch filler or not.
I think people have said that there is only one good filler arc worth reacting to, which will come much later on in the 200s, but the others are forgettable, also like you did with Naruto maybe when you get pass 100 episodes ahead maybe you can react to 2 of the movies, I'd recommend Movie 1 and 3 are the best ones imo
The first filler arc is season 4 and 5, called the Bount arc, Midnight is correct in that it is the weaker of the fillers, but it is also the only Filler that acknowledges the main story arc. there are two others, one arc is two seasons and another is three. the two season one is Boring as heck IMHO, but pushing through the bount arc may be good since some recurring characters show up in whats called Mixed filler. Filler mingled in with cannon story. the two others you could watch separately because they are self contained and make no mention of the main story line, and start in the WORST places possible. as a big Bleach fan it was maddening to just stop mid story for 2 plus seasons. Also, loving your reactions, you are the first person I sub to on YT that i found worth it to VIP myself since I live watching Bleach with friends just to see their reactions, lol.
While I loved some Naurto Shippuden filler arcs, the female characters were much better written in the fillers, Bleach fillers are dull and/or goofy (not goofy in the funny way but goofy in the 'why am I lowering myself by watching this' way). Don't get baited into watching fillers because 'something happens, someone shows up' who will be important later in the story; I, as a fan who gave up on Bleach, believe I would have finished it or at least liked it more if I had avoided the fillers.
bleach's fillers are really good(for the most part), the problem with them specifically in bleach that they are inserted in the most annoying and stupid moments like just before a major battle or a big plot point so I recommand you watch them off camera and react only to the canon episodes
I'm not a fan of the fillers. They don't add anything to the story. I did watch them because I watched the show as it came out on DVD back in the day. One weird thing is they have some filler characters show up in the main story, though they have very small parts and barely make any difference.

So, I vote no fillers on the channel. Better if you watch them off screen if you're curious.
The filler situation with Bleach is complicated. One list identifies filler episodes, canon episodes, and episodes that are mixed filler/canon (it identifies episode 8, which you already watched as mixed).

On the other hand, although I very much disliked many of the filler episodes, and skip those myself on re-watches, there are some fillers (some of which comprise long arcs) that perhaps should be watched. This list identifies those (some of which they even label "must watch"). You might want to consider the positive recommendations made about some fillers.

The show is not as enjoyable if you watch the fillers in my opinion, they drag out for way too long and as in the case of Naruto, bleach has a ton of fillers along the way. The fillers are underwhelming/unnecessary for the show for me but if you would like to watch them offscreen then go ahead. That’s my view
There are a few filler arcs, they are worth watching in my opinion, some will say to avoid them, but specifically one filler arc called the bount arc, I would suggest watching the fillers any ways, the bount arc being one of the weaker ones but things introduced like characters can come up again at later times so could be missing out on things like that. over all there some filler episodes here and there between big story arcs to... well act as filler.

some are really amusing to watch. as a huge fan of bleach and being really excited for your videos I would honestly say to not skip anything, the bleach experience is a long one but it's a really fun time. and there's 4 movies that you can later on as well. Movie 1 after 117, Movie 2 after 125, Movie 3 any time after 125 and Movie 4 immediately following 299, yes these are a ways away but this info can be kept for reference as you continue the series. and unlike Naruto the fillers are a bit more of thing in Bleach, been a while but i remember some fillers in naruto being boring or just recaps.
