Flower and Hollow - Bleach Episode 13 Reaction

I don't know if anyone has addressed this....but the reason people are depicted as picking on our friends for their bright colorful hair is in Japan as i understand it there is a rule at most schools against having colorful hair becaue apparently it became a thing to dye your hair since MOST people in Japan have black hair. The colors were considered a distraction. As I understand it, the few students who naturally HAD different colored hair would often be picked on and even have to at times try to convince their teachers that their hair color was natural in order to keep from getting disiplined. I could be wrong, but I beleive the depictions of the characters being picked on for their hair color in this and other anime of the time period is a reference to this. If I am wrong someone please correct me.
