Naruto isn’t a teen anymore. All that hokage duties drain him. Plus it’s not like the 5th or 6 had family anyway lol

Don't think Naruto is doing any less from the previous Hokage. Naruto probably working 12 hours a day. Can't take a day off since he's the Hokage. Strangely, not to different from irl japanese work ethics.

Naruto has the biggest load of work compared to the previous hokages as well, the fact that the leaf has developed so much he has to oversee everything that comes into it, also keep in mind that Naruto grew up without a dad so the natural things that a dad would do was not passed down to him either, he grew up in a time where it was much darker where it was life and death for a shinobi, we also can't judge him based on other hokages since besides minato who had a unborn chil he has two during his reign of hokage.

I think you underestimate Naruto's workload. The previous Hokage were extremely busy, remember Asuma and the Third Hokage. Konohamru was babysat by Ebisu nearly all his childhood. Now with all the peace and technological development. Naruto has more work to do. Development projects in the leaf and resolving issues that may lead to conflict outside the lead. You have to remember Naruto is the type to work through something to its end even if it leads him to sleep.

Prior to being hokage Naruto used to spend time with his kids but now he doesn't even have time to sleep because his job as holage requires him to be busy all day and night

Like you said time will tell, that naruto acting like that is part of the story, just keep on watching

Suzy you have to understand Naruto is an Adult now, with huge responsibilities, he can’t be the same goofy kid anymore, he had to step up.
