Itachi didn't want sasuke to get revenge on the leaf, sasuke wants revenge because he found out the truth that itachi was trying to hide from him. Itachi wanted sasuke to return to the leaf as a hero who avenged his clan after killing him but because of madara sasuke wants to do the opposite of what itachi wanted.
Exactly...if itachi wanted sasuke to destroy the leaf then he wouldn't have killed his clan..he killed his clan to protect the leaf.....and also he never sasuke to learn the truth...that's why he implanted the amaterasu in sasuke's eye to kill madara if madara somehow knows itachi's truth ....suzy u did understand that during itachi's truth but maybe u forgot..
Sasuke doesn't have Orochimaru's power anymore since Itachi removed the Curse Mark from Sasuke with Totsuka Blade, and the only one time when Sasuke used Itachi's power was when his eye automaticaly used Amaterasu against Madara (when the shape of the MS was Itachi's). The power Sasuke is using now is his power and his alone!
Suzy if it ever came to a situation, that you would have to eliminate either Naruto or Sasuke, who would you rather choose? Sasuke, because he can stop walking deeper into the path of darkness? Or Naruto, because he can stop suffering as he is too good for this accursed world?
