i would say stick to main story but react to the filler arc after to reflect on it in hindsight.

Kakashi is a main character and his backstory ain't a filler. It has been a year since you have fallen for Kakashi. It would only be fitting if you would upload the filler arc. But I respect your decision, I hope you see it full concentration even if you don't react to them

Id say skip the fillers or watch them in pairs of 3 when reacting to make them go by faster.
