Danzo is literally the worst. Everything he did was all because of his saltiness for not being named the 3rd Hokage. Also you should definitely see the arc of the chunin exams. You get to see development of the other side characters while Naruto was gone with Jiraya.

yeah this isnt just kakashi ark. there is a several things and chars that gets alot of back story... wich gives alot of perspective on some of ours and your favorite charcters. i dont really understand why this ark gets so much hate. tbh its not much diffrent that some of the episodes in the pain ark. backstory on nagato. or any other cannon backstory. besides it beeing placed in the middle of the war arc. but then again they couldnt really rewal some of this back story before obito was reweald either... sure hate it if u must. but plzz do come up with another reason than its on a list of "fillers". some filler arks have in my eyes been as good as many of the regular episodes. while some was defently not. skipping the shit ones but watching absolutely on par ones like most of this ark. i cant really see a problem with. and as always lovely reaction suzy :)
well i did ask for another reason other than it not beeing in the manga. i was hopeing someone would say "it doesnt progress the story" or something like that. and remind them there is what 5-6+ episodes later on that gives back story on certain charcters that doesnt progress the story any more than this does... but oh well :)
Because both Danzo and Hiruzen are excessively out of character with Hiruzen being too much of a naive fool even though he is a naive fool and Danzo being too much of a bad guy even though he is sneaky (makes no sense he tries to kill Hiruzen just like that. if he really wanted him death he would poison him or try something that wouldn't make it seem like a murderer. And he certainly wouldn't sit on his chair without even knowing for sure he is dead. He's clever. ) And then you have stuff like Orochimaru knowing about Kakashi's sharingan (which he doesn't find out until OG Naruto) and the ridiculousness of the smoke people.
