Now imagine after all that, do you honestly think that losing some person you've only actually known for 3 months is the equivalent of watching every single person youve ever loved die 500,000 times in a row? no. its absolutely not. Thats the timeline of Naruto.

The Zabuza arc happened. that was 9 days.
2 days after that, the chunin exams start that arc is 38 days long.
Then the search for tsunade arc is roughly 3 weeks long.
then this which is 3 days. That is at most 86 days.

Naruto and Sasuke have only been teammates for, at most, 86 days and actually friends for about 72 days. You are honestly telling me that someone you've been friends with for not even 80 DAYS is emotionally equivalent to your parents, siblings, significant others, the entirety of your entire clan? no. its not.
