In Fairy Tail Erza Scarlet is so OP that she is often knocked-out physically or emotionality at the start of a story arc. Jujutsu Kaisen seems to be (I'm only 1 episode ahead) the story of how a new generation of heroes is forced to rise to the occasion very unexpectedly, if true Gojo getting sealed is the start of the story, everything before this is background information, very entertaining background information.
