Origin of Pain - Naruto Shippuden Episode 173 Reaction

Pain's actions follows the Machiavelli's principle: The ends justifies the means. So he was not happy to kill Jiraya, in that point, nothing was more important than the peace that he wanted to reach, and Jiraya was an obstacle on his way to achieving peace.

Another thing, Pain's story is very related to the real world problems. There're many children in the middle east, for example, who were born and raised at a war zone, a lot of war orphans that wants to avenge his country against those who took out the peace from them (For exemple, USA is like the Leaf Village, Danzo is their goverment that does REALLY REALLY bad things in the shadows to maintain the country "protected", even if it means destroying other lives in another nation).

Danzo always wanted to be in Hiruzen's place, but his methods to protect the village were already extremely warlike.
The trap set by Hanzo and Danzo for the Akatsuki's big three always brings to mind the time when Kakashi lectured his students about what can happen when missions go wrong. Specifically, 'that's what happens. An enemy takes a hostage and you have an impossible choice. Someone ends up dead.'
"that's all it take, you being kind" what you said about Hanzo. Yep, all he need to do was to sign the peace treaty between the villages but nope, he choose war & death. And just f*ck Danzo, that's all.
"how strong he was at a young age" suzy that jutsu he used with the statue by sacrificing his energy the statue instantly killed anyone that those transparent dragons touched. that jutsu is probably unique to his rinnegan that's why it's the ultimate dojutsu
I don't think nagato judged jiraiya because he was a leaf village ninja he just lost faith in what jiraiya believed was the path to peace
I've never watched the fillers in shippuden except for a select few, but mostly because it was super annoying for fillers to come out of no where in the middle of an arc.
I would really like you to record your reaction to the filler episodes ... especially 191 (since you like Kakashi so much)
Hey suzy i am trying to renew my vip but it keep saying that we encountered a error processing your payment method. I am using a the same card I did last month. I went to my card information and it said it stoped it for unusual activity. I tried using a another card and the same thing happened. So it must be a problem on our end. Can you fix this promblem thanks. I'm from the USA.
Danzo is a despicable human being, that is a cause of a lot of grieve for the "sake" of the leaf.
Hi Suzy,

I'm not sure if you truly understood Pain's motive for everything he did. It was never about himself, but always about achieving peace.

When his parents were killed he was scared and weak and confused. And later he met with the other two and Jiriaya,he grew in strength and gained purpose-world peace. They formed the ninjia group Akatsuki and want to change the world by doing good and showing kindness.

When Yahiko was killed he was forced into a "realization": world has not changed and will not change by doing what they have been doing. The world will not know the value of peace until they fully understand the cost of war.

So yes, his killing Jiriaya and Kakashi is devoid of any personal considerations, no different from killing any random people who stand in his way. So when he say to people "know pain" it is not because he wants revenge on the world but he is saying "now you'd want peace", equally twisted but quite different mindset.

it's been awesome to hear your thoughts on his backstory so far
Suzy,
Just FYI, ep 179 is CANON, and very important at that, so make sure you don't skip it. After that, skip all the way to 197.
