Yay confimation on VIP exclusive anime is only a timed exclusive thing.
Also, for the watching it at 2x speed will get kinda confusing later on as it will have at times 5 mins of canon and then goes into a flashback. Even on a website I saw it showed a list of episodes where it was a mixture of canon and filler.

Honestly, the war arc fillers (ep 284 - 295 and 303 - 320) are the only filler episodes that I find to be interesting fillers, because they deal with all the old characters that are in some way or another related to or have some kind of connection to characters of the show that are still alive.
Nagato - it's okay to miss some plot points in your first watch of any episode. That's why it's enjoyable to re-watch anime. Yes, Steins;Gate is interesting for the complexity, but it's not nice to make it personal against someone. I think Stein;Gate would definitely be a thought provoking anime for reactions, as much as Death Note and the like.
