Well, in defense of the spoilers, they do say when she after she attacks Kakashi that the White Fang killed her son. It sounds like just a throw away comment though and isn't brought back up until now XD

I will may never know if you read this I live cranny but I do think she should of been honest about his parents death because he ends yp thinking they abandoned him for a mission and the village which is why he hates and never wants to return he end up killing his emotions and and its the reason he hates been kept waiting is because he waited for his parents and they never came and telling him they not dead gave him false hope he was always hoping while she knew they where dead I would be upset if my parents where are from home and never talk to them on a long time everyone makes mistakes.
