Well technically Itachi is still a reanimation so he is not alive persay. He just broke free of the control binding him.

i don't feel like this is a spoiler since it doesn't factor in to the rest of the story, but i feel like suzy should know that nagato's full name is nagato uzumaki

Itachi replacing Yamato for top 3? hmmm Suzy thoughts on him we need more! Oh please react to the filler arc 347-361! Its such an important back story arc that the author wanted it to be part of the main books but didn't have the time to do so, so he just made it a side book, I believe anyway

Those episode were not written by Kishi. The writers of the anime wrote those. However some of it is relevant to stuff he wrote after the series ended. By the time these episodes were being adapted Kishi wasn't working cause he was very sick. None of the filler in both Naruto and this series are written by Kishi.

The reanimation jutsu doesn't get undone if the caster stops controlling people. Remember the jutsu cannot be stopped even if you kill the caster. So itachi is just alive but he's not in kabuto's control anymore. Btw, Happy birthday Suzy.🎉🎊
