Hi Suzy! I hope you surgery goes well.
Alice looks weaker cause she was afraid (just as you said), you have to think the mental status affects directly their strength.
The rope and the staff was made by her gloves.
Yes, i wish you were posting at least 2 episodes of SAO a week. 3 would be even better.
And tbh. you're actually entering the better episodes of Alicization right now. Everything ahead will be much better. The beginning is okay, but a bit boring.
The explosion destroying the wall was caused by Kiritos and Alice's enhanced armament sword skill colliding. The wall of the central cathedral is increadibaly strong and has a passive auto heal spell on it. I don't remember if the self healing was mentioned in the anime, but it certinally was discussed in the light novel.
Actually Alice describes the walls ability right here in this episode. It the reason why they make three options. Climb down, climb up or break through the wall/ ALice says option three is nit possible and describes why.

I would love to see 3 episodes a week but at the same time I know that SAO on YouTube is no as popular as AOT, so I'm not sure if it's the best choice for your Chanel but on the other hand you said that views are not that important. The choice is yours, I would really love to see 3 episodes a week!

PS. Great reaction as always!
Do you think Alice reminds of Artoria from the Fate series both by personality and backstory which they have in common
having a little girl to be forced to be an Integrity Knight and another girl forced to be king

I'm almost sure that Alice was inspired by Saber from fate, they are very similar.
In a way but Saber is 2 years older than her Alice is 19 years old older than Kirito but you got to admit that alice is a Tsundere
Alice is such a Tsundere all that pride she has reminds of Artoria Pendragon (Saber) from the fate franchise

Tsundere: a person who is initially cold (and sometimes even hostile) before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier and caring side over time
