I started really binging anime early last year. I was watching some in dub but I like watching ongoing series in sub so I won't be behind, since shows like Boruto are a hundred episodes behind in dub. I also feel that subs generally deliver lines better and a sense of emotion like with Demon Slayer. I think shows I don't regret watching in dub are Blood-C, Naruto, Fairy Tail, Black Clover (switched to sub) and High School DxD especially. Other than that I do sub mostly.
Try Deathnote in Dub, I watched both dub and sub , after dragon ball Z this is the only one I liked it in Dubbing.Fairy tail dubbing is also decent but if she's planning to watch one piece in Dubbing that's going to be very pain full .I am already dealing with MHA and DS, but One Piece is different seeing it get butchered by dubbing, not pleasant at all. If she wants to start watching something lengthy in dubbing I hope she picks something else. One Piece fandom are unlike any other we are dedicated we are like a religion, worship Eiichiro Oda and pray for his health.
I stated watching Naruto when they were airing the Sasuke retrieval arc so all I really knew was subbed. After the whole series ended I did go back and watch them dubbed. Boruto I've only seen subbed, althouh I stopped like 3 months back after they finished the time travel arc.
Side-note I did make edited videos though of all the individual battle scenes in Naruto and then in Shippuden up until episode 299. At some point I'll finish them up but at least for those ones I can go back and just watch the fights without story stuff whenever. :)
