Danzo wanting to control the ninetails isn't selfish or necessarily a bad thing the nine tails is a being of destruction that literally almost wiped their village out not to long ago and where the 4th died so Danzo taking precautions this time around by turning himself into a lab rat is actually heroic in a way
Thats what a lot of people have failed to see about Danzo, he does terrible things, but ultimately, its for the what he thinks is best for the village and its safety, he is the type of person that goes by ¨The end, justify the means¨
In a way, he is a dark version of the Hokage, willing to do anything to protect the village, without caring about morals, he is basically an anti-villain

Sure, Danzo ultimately wants to protect the village in his own way, but willing to do anything? More like willing to have other people do anything and to sacrifice everyone but himself. The end justifies the means except the means is never his own sacrifice and must always benefit himself too.

Another fun fact that is not said in series but is confirmed: Danzo is responsible for people knowing about that Nine tails is sealed inside of Naruto, and Root even got to greater hights saying that it is Naruto fault that 4th Hokage died. There is also video about this from Naruto Explained i think it was called "How Danzo ruined Naruto childhood" but im not enterily sure.
But even after all said I still hate, it made me hate him less but still.

I don't agree because danzo want to protect the village but not the people in the village this is the mean point he is protecting stone and tree and water and house's but not the peaple who live in the house's that's why he kill innocent peaple like the uchiha but he forgot that they are a part of the village

I wish someday she can see the point of view of Danzo. Trying to control 9tails to protect village. Trying to keep Naruto out of village during pain saga to keep Naruto safe from Pain. About Uchiha Massacre, if he didn't asked Itachi to kill all the Uchiha. They would have tried to rake over village as coup de ta and killed many innocent civilians. By keeping this secret and saying Itachi killed good people (uchihas) he is trying to give Uchiha Clan the respect and image.

I mean in the case of Itachi it was more because of Madara, which in turn also applies to Sasuke, since his attack on the Leaf Village with Nine Tails was what created the whole tension between the Uchiha and the rest of the village, since they were suspected of the attack, and we know the whole thing with the Uchiha being resentful and planning to attack the Hidden Leaf and overthrow the Hokage for that reason, which lead to the order of their extermination at the hands of Itachi.
