Danzo Shimura - Naruto Shippuden Episode 211 Reaction

Sasuke is one of the worst written characters of the series lmao. He's not even close to be the best. Nagato, Naruto, Itachi, Sasori, Tsunade, Konan, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Minato, Kushina, all of them are better than him. Sasuke is not a great character, his writing is poor and his development is inconsistent through the whole story.
His writing is actually very consistent for the most part. We just have a hard time understanding his motives. Go watch swagkage's video on youtube on sasuke's character. He does a really good job breaking his character down. I would type it out on here but its alot to type.
Danzo definitely wasn't the villain, his character is one of the few in the series who stands in the grey area between being a hero and a villain. He's somewhere between being self-serving and being willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of the village (which he does in the end to try to eliminate Sasuke and Madara at the cost of his own life.) Definitely a cool character in my book, his political rivalry with Hiruzen gave a lot of depth to the political aspects of the series.
He caused the death of Yahiko and the original Akatsuki, he was behind the Uchiha massacre, he stopped the frog from messaging Naruto even when the village was getting destroyed, he's tried to get in Naruto's way all this time and cage him, but it didn't happen only because of Tsunade, even in this episode you can hear Madara say that he intends to control the 9 tails, he tried to take down the 3rd Hokage, instead of trying to ally with the other Kage he tried to backstab and betray them/ use them.
This dude is a shithead right down to his bones, just because he had some imaginary good intentions, doesn't mean he is good in any shape or form. Even the smallest good deed is greater than the greatest good intention.
