I can't believe you have already watched like 486 episodes of naruto lol.

The Naruto vs Nine-Tails fight was cool when I first saw it, but after finishing the series I can never watch that fight the same way ever again.

I don't see anywhere that they mention they prefer men to be tailed beasts, also when the Mito Uzumaki gave birth the seal was almost undone but they still manage to keep it under control. Plus even if it was a male Jinchuriki, the beast can still be extracted but it just takes longer. Also, I don't think they have a choice of a preference because those who possess massive amounts of chakra are stronger candidates to be Jinchuriki, this is info provided back when Naruto was undergoing change in chakra nature training for his Rasenshuriken and Captain Yamato said your chakra helps keep the Nine-Tails in check, which is about 5x times bigger than Kakashi and he would have about 100x times more if Naruto wasn't the Jinchuriki.
