Also that is essentially Deidara's actual soul and consciousness that has been brought back to life artificially through the reanimation jutsu. Suzy, when the old guy said that the deidara they were fighting wasn't actually him, he was only partly right, deidara's current Body is fake, it was created from DNA left behind by deidara (like blood or a strand of hair for example) but his consciousness is the real thing which is why he remembers everything that happened until he died.
