To explain how Naruto saved Guy. The 8 gates are chakra limiters and opening all is like a bursting dam. As a result there’s no way to stop all the chakra from leaving your body. However, in this case Guy was lucky and Naruto was able to reseal the 8th gate before Guy lost the last of his Chakra
Definitely not. Guy was willing to die for everyone regardless of the outcome, he resolved himself to protect everyone and die a proud Shinobi, nothing takes that away even Naruto saving him. If there's one person that needed to be saved and not killed off in this series it was Guy.
I just want to say, and you can hate if you want. But why do people stand Obito? Let me get this list out..... And this isnt a spoiler
1. Obito caused the nine tails attack and got many many people killed including Minato and Kushina.
2. Controlling the previous Mizukage and turning it into the "blood mist village". The system of killing your comrades to be stronger, that was Obito. Cause the mist kidnapped Rin so he was mad.
3. Helped kill his entire clan.
4. Killed Nagatos friends and turned him into what he became. Then killed Konan.
5. Started this war. At the start we had 80,000, they said half lost on the first day. Then Obito blew people up with ten tailed beast bombs. Impaled people, Neji, and sucked up there chakra like raisins.
And way more things even further behind the scenes for yearsssss.....
So why like this murderer?

Honestly the whole concept behind the Gate mechanics is broken in this series or did you people not forget that "gate" was an inhereted ability that all shinobi's possess so why is guy and lee the only ones that could use it first of all. 2nd of all, the 8th gate was wayy to over powered. Like I expect it to be equal to a hokage level like maybe Sarotobi back in OG naruto but as strong as 10 tails jinchurki Madara Uchiha, you have to be kidding me.
So your telling me any character could access god like abilities so if tenten went into 8 gates, she would be strong enough to kill madara.

Yeah I would have never thought guy would be this powerful by this point in the show🤯
But I personally think guy can be considered the strongest at this point of the show. Because he had no amps like the main cast did. That was just pure hard work and determination that got him that powerful. So yeah, to put it simply Madara would stand no chance without the 10 tails...AND THATS FACTS!
