Sasuke’s father did want to help. So did the rest of the uchiha just like they stated . They were ordered to not interfere with the nine tails battle because only uchiha could control the nine tails and they knew that . The uchiha were not trusted after the attack . Although an uchiha did cause the attack , it was a rogue uchiha . Fugaku was the leader and u saw he just had to suck it up and move to the edge while everybody else got to move where they wanted to upon request. PLUS u already know how DANZO was about the uchiha .
In his father's defense he wanted to help during the attack but had orders to stay put.. n saw the new area for the clan was being watched by surveillance.. but then then again to the leafs defense they were half correct cuz it was an uchiha as they predicted .. but a rogue uchiha lol perhaps it was bad moves on both sides
Wait , Suzy . I think you’ve been comprehending they uchiha wrong this entire time . U should know by now that the uchiha were purpose treated poorly because they were feared because of their sharingan. They were actually suspected to be the cause of the nine tails attack as u should know by now . That’s why they were told to gaurd the civilians and not help . Sasukes dad knew this and was simply abiding by the rules and law set for them , even when the rest of the clan didn’t want to. At some point they had to stand up for theirselves for that
What? Where are these conclusions about Itachi's dad coming from?? Are you seeing different episodes? If anything, the other members of the clan were always pressuring him to some sort of rebellion and the only reason it never happened earlier was because he did try to deal with the current situation.
So sorta spoiler from the books, not the show: In the canon spinoff novel Itachi Shinden: Book of Bright Light, Itachi decided to kill Izumi first (the little girl he saved in the episode) when he goes to kill his clan. When he goes to do that he first puts her under a Tsukyuomi that has Izumi live her life out as his wife to eighty years old before she dies of old age alongside Itachi and their kids. Then she wakes up, Thanks Itachi and dies for real in his arms. Just thinking about it makes me tear up.

i absolutely love this arc. Itachi is such a interesting character.
in my opinion he's one of the three most well written characters on this show.

But if you noyiced, Itachi's father did not try to rebel and he told his clan to behave - also his father did say "we are being watched, i wish it was just my imagination but it isn't" so they may have felt like they were completely unwanted when they did not do anything wrong
Suzy, you seem to be confused about the uchiha, the hidden leaf's leaders and many of the civilians think that the uchiha clan was involved in the nine tails attack despite having no proof of their involvement, but when the village was rebuilding, the uchiha clan was shoved to the outskirts of the village, so it's not that the uchiha believe themselves above other people but the uchiha are not being treated as equals by the other villagers, they're basically being treated as outcasts in their own village.
