A Fabricated Past - Naruto Shippuden Episode 462 Reaction

Comments

This setup for Kaguya and the Otsuski clan has been hinted since the beginning of Shippuden tbh. It is supernatural that humans can possess such immense power from chakra alone and on top of it, not everything went according to plan. There were bumps along the road and yes, black zetsu did reach his end goal, it still took MANY of attempts to find the right time to do it. It seems far fetched if you don't catch the subtle hints along the way and yeah the final boss was a cop out for getting rid of Madara but the story itself makes sense. Especially to set up for the future. Lies and deceit to continue war and conflict, just like in real life. That's why Naruto wants to become Hokage to change those ways :)
A lot of people defend this series as if its their own child but its okay for us to admit that not because they give us a story and an explanation, that it means it makes sense. So Kaguya was pregnant with her sons and gave birth to them, it took a process right. And right before she gets seals she just expels a black substance called zetsu from her vagina? Is that how child birth happens? And then he has all the knowledge to be able to manipulate and come up with this master plan? I'm supposed to buy that? And then when Madara put his hand on a white zetsu and turned half of it black which we were told was when black zetsu was created, i'm supposed to forget that? He made Madara feel he created a black zetsu and it was him who decided to simultaneously inject himself into half of a white zetsu? Nah, I don't buy it.
The brith part isn't far fetch since zetsu come from the tree and kayuga and the tree basically became interlink with each other the madara part i agree on and when it comes black zetsu plan he was powerless so he to go with roundabout methods to win

your Joke about Black-Zetsu looking like Ditto was hllarious.
Kaguya is such a interesting character. so much misteries about her backstory.
i love to see how surprised you're with all this Kaguya and Black-Zetsu situation.
and i'm loving to hear all your honest thoughts about this whole Kaguya situation.
this is definitey the biggest plot twist on the whole show in my opinion.
bigger plot twist than Obito being Tobi,
and even a bigger plot twist than itachi being a super good person.
i love to be surprised and all this Black-Zetsu situation was mindblowing
when i watched for the first time. so mindblowing. so surprising. so good.
i definitely liked this whole situation way more than i would like just to Naruto
and Sasuke beating Madara together. it would be a expected situation.
and i prefer to surprised,to be mindblown, instead of just seeing what is expected.
thank you for making my 2020 a much better year. i wish you a happy 2021.
it was a great year to rewatch the end of OG and the whole Shippuden with you.
i think you look even more beautiful with this hairstyle. voluminous, more natural.
Also naruto is a ninja world so deception misconceptions lies and manipulation these are what the world is about and even in our life with systems especially during war and conflicts
i mean it didn't go all to plan, zetsu said their were failures, and even thought Madara failed, their were definitely things that didn't turn out the way they wanted but all turned out in their favor in the end. The only problem i really have is the story being completely animated, the sage or black zetsu could have did a quick recap with pictures and i would have liked it more and maybe its the fact that i Watch a lot of anime but aliens in Naruto was not a deal breaker for me
Naruto doesn't necessarily have such thing called "real narrator". False history and miscoceptions do exist in this anime within its characters.

Remember, Japanese are the original audiences of this series. There are some word plays and hints that only they knew. For example, Gedo Statue sitting on top of the giant flower (episode 200s) was a direct homage to Kaguya from the original folklore (some popular depictions her are her sitting on on top of a beautiful big flower). This grand twist basically told us that Gedo Statue was made up of Kaguya's body. They've been using her power all along.

The og folklore is called "Tale of Bamboo Cutter". It's about guy(s) collecting some nearly impossible items to get Kaguya... but she dips to the Moon. The tale itself wasn't focused on Kaguya, it's about "Humility". The way Madara got treated are both humiliation and to further honor his name. He is the most oblivious villain in Naruto, afterall. He got his karma.

She's a forgotten-by-history figure. She lost the battle against her children and history forgot about her. Madara knew her existence only bcuz of the Stone Tablet that Zetsu had tweaked. While Hagoromo only mentioned "Calamity" about her in the og writings in Stone Tablet cuz he was kinda ashamed.

"Tsuki" in "Otsutsuki" means Vessel/Moon. Akatsuki could mean either Red Moon or New Dawn. But there is one more hidden meaning, it's New Vessel.

Naruto franchise has always been about Vessels (OG: Sasuke as the ultimate vessel, Shipp; Madara as the ultimate vessel) and Shinobi as Tools vs Shinobi as Humans (our MC) theme.

Now atleast you know, don't let the others' comments ruin your experiences on this anime series.

Suzy please watch the upcoming filler arc that lasts from episode 464 until episode 468. It's going to clear things up for you a lot.
Please react to Naruto The Last movie after you watched episode 483.
Please DON'T watch the Boruto movie. The anime did a better job with that arc. In the movie they left out a lot of detail about the things that happen during the arc and those things are going to be importatant later in the anime.
You’re half right Suzy how you feel exactly how everyone else feels about the ending of Naruto. The author of Naruto said that he had written Madara too strong and didn’t know how to defeat him so they introduce Kaguya so they have an “easier” final boss. And all the mystery around Kaguya and where she came from was all done as set up for Boruto.
Lol yeah this show/book went off the rails at the end. Mostly due to Kishimoto having to continue it past his intended stopping point. So he had to rework story beats and introduce a new final boss when he clearly intended for Madura to be the final boss.

Yet some people believe that there's a God who has a masterplan for everything and that our actions are influenced by this plan. I guess she's not that kind of religious person, lol

Suzy i agree with you. Madara should be the final boss, but they introduced the Otsutsukis just for the Boruto series. In this episode Kaguya mentioned "someday they will come to take me back", so other Otsotukis will come and mess things up and we only have like 40 episodes, so you can expect them in Boruto and this not a spoiler is just 1+1.
