This. I've been maaning to say this for a while. Kishimoto did a great job at communicating that each user has different abilities by giving them a unique distinct parttern. It's easy to tell that Itachi, Sasuke and Madara all have different patterns, therefore different abillities, tho Madara's are unknown.
YES, IT DOES! 'I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS, THAT EPISODE..." Man, what do you think goes through the mind of someone who reads this? Someone who didn't watch it. That someone creates an expectation that something will happen, it may be something good, or bad.. it will happen. And that is a spoiler, because you are influencing how this person reacts to new things.
but mangekyo abilities are all different. each eyeball has a different ability. itachi's 2 abilities were the black flame of amaterasu and super genjutsu in the form of tsukuyomi. one of sasuke's eyes also possesses amaterasu, but his other one grants him the ability to shape or extinguish the flames. Itachi did not have that ability.
Meanwhile, Kakashi's ability is entirely different to either of the brothers.
