Dude I hate that ur so sad about guy . I don’t think you ever grasped how powerful the gates are . The point of it is to eventually see how the last gate works since we were already told since OG naruto that if you use the eight gate you die . So why feel sad when it was built up to be this way . SMH
Honestly though the gates was an element behind the mechanics of OG naruto that was forshadowed to lay dormant within all people of the shinobi world not just might guy. It felt wierd that suddenly it was showcased only conveyed through a single character. I understand where kishimoto was going with this but he should have created it to be unique to lee and guy only not cement it as something that lives within everyone because outside of lee and might guy, they are the only ones that have unlocked the gates. Kind of stange when you bear witness to extremly powerful shinobi like madara, obito and all the kage's and yet they didn't showcase it. These are flaws in the mechanic building that are just easly identified.
Well the thing is in order to open the gates once has to possess an immense amount of stamina to endure the strain on the body. That's why it's considered a Taijutsu technique and not ninjutsu. To gain stamina like that one must train insanely in Taijutsu and who are the characters that have done that??? Guy and Lee. Kakashi can only open the 1st gate. He doesn't have the stamina to open the other one.
