Moonlit Night - Naruto Shippuden Episode 455 Reaction

When they tell you the story as a passage in the manga about the extermination of the Uchija clan, it is worse than it appears in the anime.
Hi, there seems to be a misunderstanding here, Itachi was never an unboo black op under danzo's supervision he was an unboo under direct supervision of the hokage Hiruzen like yamato and kakashi but any unboo could get assigned missions by both Hiruzen and Danzo as seen in those episode.

In the leaf village there are two faction in the unboo black ops, those under the hokage which are called the latter and those under Danzo's which are also known as the foundation like SAI, which have a curse mark placed on there tongue by Danzo and are loyal to him.

Just wanted to clear that out.

Suzy, think back to the episodes when Sasuke asked the first Hokage (1) what is a village and (2) why was it so important because Sasuke wanted to know why Itachi chose the village over the clan (the Uchiha). Remember that before villages, the world was war-torn, and it was clans against clans. The vision that the first Hokage had was to create a village where clans would unify, cooperate, and co-exist as one; thus, the Leaf Village (and other villages soon after) was born and his vision was realized.

It was said many times that Itachi thought like a Hokage and understood the importance of the village to maintain peace since he grew up with so much war and fighting. If the village were to fall, this would destabilize the balance between other villages/nations, and war would breakout once again. This is why he chose the village over a single clan. He was so fed up with the Uchiha only thinking about the clan and not the village as a whole, which is why that infamous scene of Itachi beating up those three dudes (whom accused him of killing Shisui) keeps getting brought up - where he mentions "the clan, the clan, that's all you think about" dialogue.

so interesting to see that Itachi's Father also had the Mongekyou Sharingan.
that scene when itachi killed his parents is even more sad on this arc.
i wish you have a happy christmas eve with your family.
thanks for making my christmas week so happier with your reactions to this arc.
Itachi sided with the Leaf because he knew a coup de'tat would result in a civil war between the Uchiha and the rest of the village. And as Danzo said, even though Hiruzen was a meek Hokage, even he would respond with force if the worst were to happen. A civil war of that magnitude would've destabilized the Leaf, and if Sasuke wasn't killed in that conflict, he'd most certainly be killed if foreign nations took advantage of the chaos and invaded the Leaf while they were fighting each other.

Fugaku's plan was a relatively bloodless proposal, but it went against Itachi's philosophy entirely. Plus, there was a good chance Fugaku would've been seen as an illegitimate Hokage, which would end up sparking a civil war and possible foreign invasion anyway.

The best option he had was to take out the Uchiha, thus preventing a coup from happening. He teamed up with Obito because he knew that as soon as he started killing the civilians, the Leaf Police Force would deploy to stop him. Itachi handled the civilians while Obito went and killed the police force.

And of course, Obito offered Itachi refuge in the Akatsuki, since he'd have nowhere else to go after the massacre. All the while Itachi was spying from within and preventing Obito from making a move on the Leaf.
So, "fun" fact about Izumi Uchiha (Itachis's girlfriend). Even though in the anime she dies in this "boring" way, in the novel "Itachi Shinden" she dies when Itachi finds her during the massacre, and in order to not hurt her, he puts her through a tsukuyomi were one second in real life is equivalent to a whole lifetime in the dream, and her dream consists in a full life being withItachi, marrying him, havin kids with him and dying of old age. When she wakes up she thanked Itachi for that and Itachi thanked her for loving him until the end. I think I prefer the novel.
I've read about that before, i was waiting for it while watching but it never came, they shouldn't have skipped/changed that imo, at least that way Itachi would have gotten to experience some form of happiness.

Itachi killed the civilians and Obito took the Police force with no problem. Obito was such a strong Uchiha.
