For me this episode is the most wholesome of the series. I don't know if you notice when they show the flashbacks how the people of the village started treating Naruto bad and calling him the Ninetales Fox or the Fox Boy, but step by step they are changing they way they see him, calling him Naruto instead of the Fox Boy and be worried about him.

One of the best episodes.

Except there was a point Kakashi would have absolutely sacrificed his teammates for the mission. In fact thats exactly what he tried to do in the gaiden episodes

This will always be my favorite non-battle episode. There's so much payoff to nearly 400 episodes of buildup. It really could have been a sort of end to the series.

I gotta agree , for me this is the end too lol. Everything after this point always felt like part 3. One of the best endings in my book, even though it isn't really. That's how I always felt ever since I read that chapter.
