Hey Suzy! You do know that Kakashi has already awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan since the beginning of Shippuden. It is shown him using it when he teleported Deidera's arm and later showing him Teleporting away the nail Pain shot at him. So this isn't the first time he is shown using it. Sasuke just got his first glance at Kakashi using it so he was surprised that someone who isn't an Uchiha could use it. Unless i've misunderstood your comment about how impressive it is, then you definetely didn't need me explaining this :)
