Oh my god, later in the series there is this two-part filler that is such a load of monkey crap, it left a permanent scar in my mind. I could not believe how horrible it was. I wish I could go back in time and poke my eyes and ears so there wouldn't be a possibility of me experiencing that tragedy.
I still think One piece is the definitive crown jewel of shonen. I mean even looking at it from more of a artists or creators point of view. Not as an actual shonen fan but more so a fan who has watched hundred's of different anime shows and films in the medium. It has so much variation and diversity in its design and story, that it just trumps any other shonen out there. Its consistent in its themes and mechanics presented, and words like coincidental and convenience are terms that are just not in oda's vocabulary. Which is something i believe based on my experience watching many shonen is what plagues the shonen genre. One piece breaks the normal conventions of shonen and transcends its writing quality above shonen tier. The only flaw i could possibly put for one piece is that luffy the MC doesn't grow much and isn't quite as endearing as many other shonen protagonists but i think this is something that oda wanted to keep so as to sustain his childlike innocence and never have him change. If suzy ever finishes naruto, she should definitely go for One piece next.
Iruka Hokage that got me in tears, literally ROFL. XDDDD Iruka is not bad person, but he is just too weak for Hokage who should be strongest shinobi in village to be able to protect it against enemy if he have to, Iruka is only Chunin and he was not strong enough to be on a team so HOKAGE? HELL NO.
Suzy the reason's it's hard for Naruto and Sakura to believe Sauske is the way he is now, is 1 you've actually seen the things he's done. 2 this is the first time they heard he attacked Killer Bee, the last thing they heard about Sauske is he killed Itachi which wasn't wrong. Up until that point Sauske has done nothing illegal, he killed Orochimaru, then Itachi. Attacking Bee was the first thing he did that was actually illegal. You also kinda have viewed Sauske like Danzo. Danzo believes he's a criminal and so have you repeatedly.

filler are important because there are parts of the canon inserted in the filler arcs. to have the full picture about this show, fillers are important to be watched.
the fillers are created because the manga needed to catch up with the anime. and because of it they hired some people to create new good strories or the fans would need to wait some months until the next episodes of the show. in my opinion it worked really well on this show. and they really had created good new stories most of the time. i like how some of them are lighhearted and kinda derpy,
in my opinion this was a pretty good filler arc. a lot of great moments.
that was so cool seeing Inari being such a hero in the second part of this filler arc.
i wonder if seeing Inari learning how to swim it made you want to try again to learn it?
the third part of the filler arc with the SwordMaster was cool as well to rewatch.
fourth part of filler arc was cool see gaara,kakashi,sakura,naruto and sasuke together.
really great to see that the teammates of Gaara ended up treating him as a friend.
pretty fun the episode that Tenten was the captain of her team with naruto and neji.
awesome to see Jiraya-Sensei and Naruto on a adventure once again.
after so much Pain on main arc,these fun filler episodes were exacty what i needed.
episode 197 was a good episode to start this main arc.
the relationship between Darui and Karui is hilarious. Darui is such a funny character.
