Planetary Devastation - Naruto Shippuden Episode 167 Reaction

Suzy I have a suggestion, when it is connected episodes for example: telling a story of characters where the episode ends without telling all of you, put two episodes at once so it would make more sense for the episodes and speed up the course of the story.
Hello Suzy, I was wondering if there could be a notification system for the website. Would love to know when new videos are uploaded :)
Finally catching a break from all the killing off of your beloved characters, huh? :´D
First Jiraiya, then Kakashi, then SPOILER ingame. Finally some ass kicking in the right direction for you!
I know there is a 50/50 split on the animation of this episode being good or bad but I don't mind it personally. It was weird in a couple parts but overall the intense battle/animation along with the music was epic in my opinion.

Pain's face when he said " MY PAIN IS GREATER THAN YOURS!" seemed off. Just because they were trying something new with this animation/art style doesn't automatically make it flawless or unique for the simple fact that there are people who would disagree. If I confused the art with the animation it's whatever. I don't know the ins and outs about anime production all I know is even though the scene was weird at first I liked the overall product of the episode.
Never said it was bad, just weird like you stated yourself. Even if I did think it was bad it wouldn't ruin the rest of the fight for me.

definitely not weird you misunderstanding the whole animation his face looked like that showing you how fast he was going making the impact on the face look like that that how you look in real life when you going fast in a car with your head outside the window and put it on slow motion you just don't know logic when you see it even when they punch eachother they show how impactful the punches are that's flawless animation
Clearly it's you who misunderstands. I didn't say or go in depth about physics, the impact of the blows, or anything else you just blabbed about because that wasn't what where my criticism was. Stop trying so hard to. Don't tell me about logic when you're using flawed logic trying to dictate to me what I do and don't understand . Did I once say that this scene with wasn't representative of his speed and power? No.

His face is showing the kind of speed, power, and emotion that he was putting on display, I'm not disputing that. Saying it's flawless just because it adds elements of realism is an opinion not a fact so when someone disagrees some of you fanboys go ape shit, and get so worked up about a 3 sec clip out of a 20 minute episode. Did you see me say anything about the rest of the animation in the episode? No because I liked it but you conveniently glazed over that so be quiet.

It totally is flawless, though. Exaggeration like squash and stretch are basic fundamentals of animation, and this scene uses it BEAUTIFULLY to provide some really dramatic visuals to what Pain is saying. Imagine how boring/flat/static the scene would look if it was drawn without any emphasis, it's funny how people don't seem to get that.

What is BAD Animation?:

The idea of it being flawless is subjective at best. There are other ways they could have made it look awesome without turning his face into a rubber band, like when Pain yells and adds more power to the Planetary Devastation when Naruto still tried to resist, I liked that, you could see the struggle and intensity. Like I've stated already I don't think the animation was bad. The rest of the fight I enjoyed enough to think it ranks in the top 10 fights of Shippuden and OG Naruto..
